On top of a very competitive world of classical music today, the cello however is celebrating a fruitful development in playing techniques, possibilities of non-traditional concert settings, and wider musical genre. Alfian Emir Adytia, an Indonesian cellist and composer based in The Netherlands is inviting 4 young professional cellists to spend one week full of workshops, masterclass, discussions and concert in a peaceful town of Preporche, France. Together we will extract the possibilities of today’s cello kaleidoscope in a peaceful environment far from the distraction and speedy pace of big cities.
